Here Comes Santa Paws
How about me Mazi?
I can be Kali Santa Paws.
Oh yeah, I can do this.
How does that song go? Santa baby, I've been a very good girl, oh yea.
Kali ! You can't be Santa Paws, you're a girl, Santa's a boy.
Shut up Simba, or Santa Paws is gonna leave you a big
lump of coal in your Christmas sock, no kitty toys or treats.
I can be Santa Paws.
I'm a boy.
I like kitty toys and treats.
What else does Santa Paws do?
I remember something about a sleigh and flying reindeer.
Lets see, yep, visiting kitties all over the world on Christmas eve,
bringing kitty treats and toys to all the good kitties of the world.
Oh no, I don't think I can be Santa Paws.
I don't know a thing about reindeer, flying,
or being out in the cold all over the world on Christmas eve.
Lemme give a try, I can be Santa Paws, I'm a boy.
Reindeer and flying, that doesn't scare me.
But this dingle ball on this hat has got to go!
In fact this whole outfit just makes me look fat.
Hmmm, I've got an idea here.
Here's Santa Paws!
Awwww Santa Paws.
How about a little smoochie Santa Paws.
Now let me whisper what I want for Christmas.
Meowy Christmas to All from the kitties of Bengal Cat Domination.

Happy Thanksgiving
Simba just LOVES Turkey.
He is determined to eat the whole thing.
Mazi is a little worried that he won't get any.
Kali is confident that is NOT going to
happen.
There is plenty for everyone.
We are Thankful for our Family and Friends.
Have a Blessed Thanksgiving Day.

Happy Halloween with Kitty Costumes
Take a look at our costumes!
How do I look in my new Halloween costume?
In case you can't tell, I'm a lady bug!
Kali the lady bug, that's kinda catchy.
Maybe you can see the little bug a bit better if I tip my head down a bit.
I'm having a little trouble with this cowboy hat.
I ditched the hat, I like it better this way.
That's not much of a costume Simba, how do you think it looks on me?
This looks kinda cute on me, maybe you can wear the lady bug and I can be a cowgirl?
Hey Simba, come back here, don't you want to try on the lady bug costume?
Mazi, what's your costume?
How cute! Its a bumble bee!
Mazi is a bee!
Kali, this is chick costume, I'm a mancat, I can't run around in this thing!
I can't believe they were out of Pirate costumes.
I was suppose to be a Pirate, Captain Arrrg Kitty.
That would be a great mancat costume.....not this stupid bee.
I hate this bee costume!

A Book Review for Pet Lover's
It’s time for a Book Review.
I was asked to review a couple of new books published by, http://www.quarrybooks.com/ .
These new books are : The Cat Lover’s Daily Companion,
by Kristen Hampshire, Iris Bass and Lori Paximadis,
and
The Dog Lover’s Daily Companion,
by Wendy Nan Rees and Kristen Hampshire.
The Cat & Dog Lover’s Daily Companion are both sharp looking books. The copies I reviewed were hardback bound and included a spot to insert your pets photo inside the front cover above the title.
The book is composed of pages for each day of the week:
Monday – Cat 101
Tuesday – Feline Fact and Fiction
Wednesday – Health and Wellness
Thursday – The House cat – Projects, Tips and More
Firday – Cat Breeds
Saturday + Sunday – Bonding and Relationship building
It is cleverly designed so it can be read from cover to cover or skip around and still enjoy the book.
It’s a book that can be put down and picked up again at any time and not feel like you lost your place.
For example, if your focus is on Feline Health, you can skip through and read each entry for Wednesday. Or if you just want to do a lot of fun projects, read Thursdays entries.
Projects ? you say. What Kind of projects?
If you crochet, how about a Paw-Print Granny Square?
Or how about baking some Chocolate-Point Cat cookies for your (Human) cat loving friends?
Some handy hints on Thursdays: Cats and Chemicals, Staying Warm and Keeping Cool.
These are just a couple of examples of a whole years worth of fun and educational pages in the book.
The Dog Lover’s Book is very similar to the Cat Lover’s Book.
Monday – Dogs 101
Tuesday – Table Manners and Training
Wednesday – Playtime and Exercise
Thursday – The Gooming and Health Care
Firday – Housekeeping and Cleaning
Saturday + Sunday – Bonding and Relationship building
Many cat lovers also have dogs or dog lover friends and family.
They would love this book!
Don’t be fooled, these books is not only good for first time pet owners, but ALL pet lovers.
I learned a few things the first time I opened the book and I have had pets for many years!
So if you are looking for a Birthday gift, Christmas gift, or just want to buy something special for yourself, this is an excellent choice.
The books are available through many of your favorite book stores.
There is nothing better than a good book to share with your pet!
You can read more directly from the publisher here:

* These books were furnished to me for the review, I did not purchase these books.

Another Cat from Our Past
We saved her from a grouchy old man in front of K Mart giving away kittens in a box.
In this photo, she is laying on the pony wall between the shower and bathtub in our master bath. She made the master bedroom and bathroom her domain and didn't come out to the rest of the house very often.
She would play with Tigre once in a while. She would turn into Sumo kitty and squash Tigre underneath her. We would laugh at how mad Tigre would get and how much more Sabre would hold her down.
Sabre was the first cat I ever heard growl like a dog. She hated the doorbell and no matter where she was in the house, if someone rang the doorbell she would start growling.
This was a poor photo I scanned. I need to look and see if I have some more pictures of her.
Sabre loved the chemicals on photos and chewed a million holes in lots of photos, I guess she wanted to keep me from having any pictures of her.
She is a kitten in this photo, she was white underneath with a mixture of gray, black and small patches of brown. She had a short life of 6 years, but she was greatly loved.

Were there cats before 2 Bengals and a Savannah?
For the next couple of blog posts, I would like to share our previous, very much loved, kitties.
I found some photos that I scanned a few years ago. These were taken before I had a digital camera so the quality is not very good. But you can see what little beauties our kitties were.
There are also some digital photos in the bunch that were taken with our first digital camera.
First, and also last, there was Tigre.
Tigre was a beautiful and fiesty little tabby cat.
She was afraid of strangers but loved her people.
She would not cuddle with the other cats, but she slept next to me every night.
Tigre loved bows, we would stick them on her and she thought she was beautiful.
Tigre was the queen of our hearts.
She lived with us for 17 years and left very deep pawprints on our hearts.

What do we have here? A brand new box with lots of strange smells on it.
I am king of the box.

Whatcha got there Mazi?
Go away Kali, I claimed this box for me.
