The Return Of The Evil Eye Halloween Adventure

A Halloween Short Story

It started with one cute little witch kitty. She was with her friend the bat trying to conjure up plans for Halloween.

She realized, she had the purrfect plan!
But wait....what evil do I see??

What kind of evil witch makes boots out of kittens!?!  Oh the horror!! There is no limit to what evil this little witch cat will do!

The evil kitty witch consulted with her little black kitten and her strange blue faced cat head creature and they all agreed, it was time to bring evil back for Halloween.
So the blue faced cat head put on his bat wings and transformed into a bat. Off he flew in search of evil and said he would not return until it was found.

And the bat returned with the evil eye and proudly announced he had brought evil to Halloween.

There was terror in the land to hear the evil eye was back. Halloween was about to be ruined, something had to be done to stop this evil!

And then, out of nowhere....he appeared...there was hope!

I am here! I will save you from this horrible evil eye and all the evil it brings!

I will destroy you once and for all evil eye, those bat wings won't help you!

Hold on! Hold on! What is this "I" business, we are a team remember?

WHAT? The evil eye is back! Let's get that ugly thing!

Suddenly there was the flap of bat wings, this bat is not letting the evil eye go down without a fight!

Guys I did it! I defeated the evil eye and stopped the bat!

Yay! Mazi is the Hero!
Happy Halloween to all have a fun and safe Halloween
from Kali, Mazi and Simba

Yes We Won

Yesterday was a major win for California hybrid cats!

The California Fish And Game Commission met yesterday and voted to reject the petition to ban hybrid cats in California!

A big thank you to all who helped make this happen and supported us in our time of need.
So many signed the petition, many called CA F&W, wrote emails and letters and even attended the meetings. What an awesome community of cat lovers we have.

About Hybrid Cats - Educate Don't Legislate

Education About Our Wonderful Cats Rather Than Banning Them

When people are uninformed it is easy to make the wrong decision about something. Most people do not know much about the behavior of hybrid cats. There are some groups that work mainly with large wild cats, big cats like Lions and Tigers who are spreading fear about these cats in a campaign to have them banned. They specifically targeted Bengal Cats, Savannahs Cats, Chausie and Serengeti Cats.

Here is some information about the Bengal Cat.
These cats are the result of naturally crossing a small wild cat that is about 10-15 lbs, (ALC) with a domestic cat which results in a companionable domestic house cat with the beautiful coloring of the wild cat. When raised with a loving family these cats are love bugs just like your little moggy tabby cat.
The Bengal cat typical size can be from 6 to 15 lbs, just like any other house cat.  Bengal cats have lots of energy, they love to play and climb. They are  usually very vocal, but not every one is. They eat regular cat food and use the litterbox.

You can here Mr Mazi's talkative meow on this video.

Kali as a kitten up on the shelf.

They are the smartest cats I have ever had and just enjoy them so much. They like to be with their people and will go to whichever room your are in and try to be involved in whatever  you are doing. They are pretty funny with their cute kitty antics.

I have never ever had any experience with aggression from my cats. They are very affectionate and very in tune with their people. I get daily purrs and cuddles from them and they are just the perfect cat to be a member of our family.

Here is what The International Cat Association says about Bengal Cats:

Its That Meowy Time Of Year

Well momma cat really blew it, she let November blow by without a post. We didn't get to mention our nommy turkey nibbles. Phhtt! Bad momma cat! Here we are just days away from Christmas and momma cat is running around like a crazy...um...crazy ol cat lady! There I said it! MOL
Now to make things even more crazy around here, Simba hurt himself pretty bad. We were really upset when it happened but he is doing great now. Momma didn't see what exactly he did, but based on where she found all the bloods, it looks like he feel off the shower door and somehow into the bathtub. Normally for a cat that wouldn't be such a big thing, but he got a claw hung up somehow and pulled off the end of his toe. *shudder* it's just and awful thing.

Here is the side view x-ray, looks just like the toe is bent weird.

Here is the top view x-ray.You see number 4 toe on the right is missing its tip with the claw. It is snapped off :(  this was the x-ray taken before they had to finish and remove the toe tip, they said its underneath in this view but the toe digit pulled away from the rest of the toe. Poor Simba boy. I can't imagine how bad that hurt.
And Simba had the cone already off by the time momma cat walked from the vets door to load him in the car! Phhttt! What a houdini cat! MOL So she couldn't get it back on him and the vet said the bandage needs to be in place for 3 days. It made it almost a full 2 days. Funny thing is, the foot part came off and he still has bandage on his ankle area above the foot. So he didn't mess with the toe at all, he is trying to get the bandage off but it's been a week and it's still there! They got the sticky stuff all over the fur and it pulls it out so he does bitey bite if momma cat tries to get it off. MOL! All should be back to normal by Christmas when the other crazy stuff happens.

We hope you have a purry Meowy Christmas this year, and hope you still love our Simba Santa cat, even though he has one less claw now.

Our Box Cave

We love boxes! Every shape and size of boxes!

Sometimes we have so many boxes momma calls it our kitty box city!

Then she goes crazy and the boxes disappear???

Right now we have this very special Box Cave.

Do you see me? The box cave is on its side right now.

There are bunches and bunches of this magical brown paper that makes
fantastic crackle and rustling sounds.

The box cave has been tipped back up now.

Look at the sea of papers I am in!

Now when mom can't find us she goes and looks in the box.

Here you can see Simba in the box cave.

Listen to that wonderful noisy paper!!

I hope you get to have a great box cave too.

It Is Christmas Time Again

Wow! Where did this year go?

It seems like we were just recovering from last Christmas and here it is Christmas again!

All the cute little Christmas decorations are coming out and of course us kitties just can't leave them alone.
It seems the people in the house should really know that when you have something cute and shiny, we are going to play with it. After all, everything is a kitty toy to us.

I'm mean, look at this, it's an adorable kitty with a bell and little angel wings and real feathers.
How can any self respecting cat resist such a beautiful temptation.  Phhhtt!

And a mouse? For Cat's sake, how is any cat going to allow a mouse in their house without a good chase?

There are so many fun irresistible pretty things that make great sounds when they fall and bounce through the tree to the floor. Oh and the rope! That fuzzy shiny rope is great to yank on and wiggle the limbs and make everything jingle.

Oh now look, Simba has beat me to the tree!
Look how much fun he is having!
This is another thing the people in the house get very upset about.
Let's see, isn't it normal for a cat to climb a tree?

Well now you must excuse me,
I am going to go show Simba how a Bengal climbs a tree!

Have a Merry Christmas everyone!

We Want Some Warm Weather

I don't know how you feel, but we are tired of cold burrrrrry weather!

The weather has been teasing use too.
A bit of warmth here and there and then back to cold burrrrr, wind, rain, brrrrrrr more wind.  Where is the warmer Spring days? Hurry up Spring!

Now momma got the bright idea that I need to be kept warm.

Hello??   I have a luxurious fur coat!

I am not happy with this thing.

Wait a minute! Let me take a look at that cat on the box.

Hey! That cat looks funny!
What happened with those claws?
And the ears?  *gasp!*
Does that say for D-O-G-S !!!!

HEY GET THIS DOGGIE THING OFF ME!

Mom, you will pay dearly for this indignity.

We Are Bootiful!

It's the time of year where strange things happen.
Beware all who enter here!
From another time, another place, comes the creepy

Evil Eye!!!!

Oh noooooooo!
It sounds scary!!

Oh I see it!
I'm scared!

Hey!! What is this on me??

A strange thing has happened with the arrival of the evil eye.
The kitties are transformed into strange creatures.

I hate this evil eye!
It is truly evil.

Kali, I like those wings, they look cute.

But wait.... the evil eye is not finished with it's dastardly deeds!

Something feels kinda funny.

Nah...it can't be, it's just my imagination.

Eeeeek!  I'm a mouse!

Noooooooo!

Yet again, the evil eye is not finished transforming theses sweet kitties into scary creatures.

Oh no, it got me too didn't it?

Now this is ridiculous!

This is not scary.
I would rather be a vampire cat or something.
I hate this evil eye!

Where did my cute wings go?
Nooooooo!
I'm a pumpkin head!

Curse you evil eye!!

Happy Halloween to all our friends!
May the evil eye stay far from you and you have a wonderful time!
