We joined twitter this week just in time to participate in the July 11 & 12, Pawpawty hosted by Frugal Dougal Dog. There was tons of fun, dancing, food surfing and lots to drink. As you can see in the photo, Simba is trying to sleep it off on the ice chest. Of course with those supersized drinks its a wonder Mazi and Kali still have thier eyes open. Mazi held onto his surfboard for dear life but had a blast. It was a great day at the beach.
There were animals of every type at the pawpawty and we met many new friends. I got a bunch of followers just going to the pawty!
So we had a great time and are soooo happy we joined twitter.
They raised money this weekend for a fur friend charity:
'Arcy's A.R.C., a registered charity providing animal rescue in Manitoba. The shelter is dedicated to rescuing cats and dogs from situations of abandonment, homelessness, neglect and abuse. All animals are given the veterinary care they need and a safe, caring and comfortable place to live until they are adopted for life. Yes, I'm in the US and the charity is Canada, but it was a pawpawty & a charity event all in one, and super super fun.
